What information do you need for a quote?
We typically need the type of project (canopy, stairs, platform, site furnishing, etc.), approximate dimensions or a sketch, the location in Metro Vancouver or BC, any finish preferences (powder coat color, galvanizing), and your timeline. Photos of the site and any architectural drawings help us provide an accurate estimate faster.
Do you handle design and shop drawings?
Yes. We can work from your architect's drawings or develop shop drawings in-house based on your concept. For custom fabrication and one-off builds, we'll provide approval drawings before starting production so you can confirm all details and dimensions.
What finishing options do you offer for indoor vs outdoor projects?
For outdoor projects in Metro Vancouver's coastal climate, we recommend hot-dip galvanizing followed by powder coating for maximum corrosion resistance. Indoor projects can use powder coating alone in any RAL color. Stainless steel and aluminum options are also available for high-corrosion environments.
Do you offer fabrication-only or installation-only services?
We offer both. If you have your own installation crew, we can fabricate and deliver. If you need turnkey service, our team handles measurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation. We also install owner-supplied or pre-fabricated components.
What are typical lead times for custom metalwork?
Standard projects typically take 3–5 weeks from approved drawings to installation. Complex custom builds or projects requiring engineering stamps may take 6–8 weeks. Rush timelines are sometimes possible—contact us to discuss your schedule.
